This deck channels the full arc of the Blackthorn — the ruthless general, the visionary king, and the Bondsmith who unites others to rally around him.

Board wipes & battlefield control crash over enemies like highstorms — precise, devastating, and cleansing. Using Blasphemous Act or Urza's Ruinous Blast (Odium Shatters the Vision).

Enchantments and battlefield buffs such as the Bard Saga (The Immortal Words), strengthen your forces for the approaching desolation your opponents may try to bring.

Armor pieces and Shardblades allow your allies utility to equip in the heat of battle and give them edge, using notable and powerful artifacts such as Blackblade Reforged (Nightblood), Sword of the Animist (Mayalaran, Deadeye Shardblade) or Shadowspear (Oathbringer).
